Do you have half-finished projects hiding somewhere? Do you need help with fitting your pattern or garment? Would
you like someone to interpret the pattern instructions? Could you use a little guidance to get started on a new
project? Are you eager to use the serger on a project? Help is on the way! Mark your calendars; sign up in advance
or just drop in to Josephine's on one Saturday of each month and receive individual help with sewing techniques,
fitting, pattern alterations or problem solving from professional dressmakers and instructors Marla Kazell and
Elizabeth Miles. With over 50 years of experience between them, Marla and Elizabeth can help you jump-start your sewing.
REGISTRATION:
- All classes are held at Josephine's Dry Goods, 521 SW 11th, in downtown Portland.
- Class fees must be paid at the time of registration. Cash or check (made payable to the instructor) is preferred, but you may also use your credit card.
- Classes may be cancelled if there are insufficient paid registrations.
- Students qualify for a 10% discount on purchases at Josephine's Dry Goods during class session.
- Sewing machines available upon request at no charge for use during classes.
- 48 hour cancellation notice required prior to first class for registration refund.
- Please plan to attend all sessions; there are no make-up classes.
- We recommend the parking garage at the First Presbyterian Church on the corner of 12th and Alder, especially when on-street parking is hard to find.
