Learn to sew or refine your technique at Josephine's

SHEER MAGIC

Class Fee: $45 (includes kit for samples)
Instructor: Marla Kazell

Do you love the look of sheer organzas, chiffons and georgettes but are afraid to sew with them? This class will eliminate your fears as you learn methods for working with a variety of transparent fabrics. From pattern selection, cutting and marking to sewing seams, darts and hems – tame those sheer fabrics from start to finish.


REGISTRATION:
  • All classes are held at Josephine's Dry Goods, 521 SW 11th, in downtown Portland.
  • Class fees must be paid at the time of registration. Cash or check (made payable to the instructor) is preferred, but you may also use your credit card.
  • Classes may be cancelled if there are insufficient paid registrations.
  • Students qualify for a 10% discount on purchases at Josephine's Dry Goods during class session.
  • Sewing machines available upon request at no charge for use during classes.
  • 48 hour cancellation notice required prior to first class for registration refund.
  • Please plan to attend all sessions; there are no make-up classes.
  • We recommend the parking garage at the First Presbyterian Church on the corner of 12th and Alder, especially when on-street parking is hard to find.
