Learn to sew or refine your technique at Josephine's

ZIPPERS MADE EASY

Class Fee: $50 (includes kit for samples)
Instructor: Marla Kazell

Take the fear out of zipper applications as you learn simple methods for inserting zippers – fly front and a traditional lapped method for regular zippers and a four-step method for invisible zippers. Practice each technique on a sample in class.


REGISTRATION:
  • All classes are held at Josephine's Dry Goods, 521 SW 11th, in downtown Portland.
  • Class fees must be paid at the time of registration. Cash or check (made payable to the instructor) is preferred, but you may also use your credit card.
  • Classes may be cancelled if there are insufficient paid registrations.
  • Students qualify for a 10% discount on purchases at Josephine's Dry Goods during class session.
  • Sewing machines available upon request at no charge for use during classes.
  • 48 hour cancellation notice required prior to first class for registration refund.
  • Please plan to attend all sessions; there are no make-up classes.
  • We recommend the parking garage at the First Presbyterian Church on the corner of 12th and Alder, especially when on-street parking is hard to find.
